Return it! And, why would you put an 18 power scope on an AK? Stick with the iron sights and put the replacement scope on a rifle designed and built to shoot straight!

          I blew up my scope!!

Sorry about your scope, but maybe there is a message in that, Scope (more than 4X CQB) and AK are not meant to be. And there are very good scopes that are less than 1000 bucks, even less than 500.

Hope you can exchange it. (the scope )

            Why not?

AK scope? Here: http://kalinkaoptics.com/ See if your AK's got the rail for it, and if it does, buy a POSP. If it doesn't, get the rail, too, and put it on.

I can't wait till next week and I can post pics of my (finally) finished Romy G.... with a scope OMGWTFBBQLOL!!!!!!!1!

there's a reason we call them "trashco". In optics one old adage rings true time after time - you get what you pay for.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

                18x scope on an AK?

That'd be like putting race tires on a dump truck

You get what you pay for. Your experience is not unique...it has happened many, many times.

                  +1 on the POSP.

I bought it from a guy at angeles for $40.00 that just got a nice nikon, and for your info, this rifle is a "F"ing tack driver!. The model I have with the original barrel(18"?) is known to be super accurate in .223. I wanted to change to a longer barrel and all the AK nuts went berserk and told me not to touch it. For the record, I love big magnification on scopes. It may be a character flaw, but it makes me happy when I can see right where the bullet is hitting the steel at 3-400 yards.

I think most people reserve the term "tack driver" for <1" at 100yds for a rifle.

There's nothing wrong with putting anything on anything, but its usefulness will be limited... and it won't be appropriate.

I would hardly equate a 22X Tasco scope with racing tires. It's more like putting monster truck tires on a Yugo.

Tasco is bad, though. I've had a couple die. On .22's!

I'm with you... I like magnification.. I use a 8-32 on my .22. I like seeing th bullet hole open up at 100 yards and more.

Hell even at only 6 power you got your 40 bucks worth.

Sounds like you got your monies worth ($40) IMHO.

Oh yeah... I always connect the words TACK DRIVER and AK together...

                            NOT.
