    What scope for FAL?

I know I wont get very precision shots being that the FAL was never a precision rifle nor am I using precision ammo.
Ammo will be Aussie or Port 7.62x51.
I want to maximize the distance this rifle will allow.

    What scope should I use?
I want to use and keep my pictanny scope mount.
Scope mount is the stripper clip version so it doesnt extend the full length of the receiver.

    Heres pic of the beauty:

He would not be able to use his stripper cover with a Leupy.

My issue is I have a DSA California FAL (top loading). Trying to find one that doesn't cover the top loader.

I had 50 mm scope that covered the ejection port. Brass never touched it during ejection. No brass kiss marks and the scope was fine. Ended up getting rid of the scope because 50 mm was wayyy too big for this thing and it got unwhelmingly heavy

Everybody has their choice, personally SUITs SUCK, they make the rifle more dificult to bring into action, if your going for a vintage L1A thats cool, but for everything else T28, ACOG, ELCAN it depends on if your life depends on that scope or is it for the tacticool look. Personally I dont use a scope on any of my fals. Inch and a half to 2 is six inches (worst case scenario) at 300 good enough to hit the sweet spot on a paper zombie or a deer.
