    Red Dot Advice

Got a 10/22 Ruger and my goal is to compete in two gun competition. I wear glasses progressive lenses. I was given a base model Center Point red dot. If I do not "cheek the rifle at the same point every time my aim is off. (Dot not centering) I hope this makes sense I am new to this all. Any suggestions as to the best option would be without having to sell the house to buy it.

Take a look at the Nikon Monarch red dot. Great sight that has a lot of options. You have a 11 position rheostat and have the ability to chnage the moa size on the dot. It can be dialed to 1 MOA, 4, 6, 8, and 10. Great for close shots as well as reaching further with a 1 moa dot. I used on on a S&W M&P 15/22 and it worked great from 10 yards out to 75.

WTF? it's $247 you should be a shamed of your self trying to sell this new guy something like that. I will never shop through you guys again.

Get a m-4 through Primary arms
it will give you close and far ability.

on a 10/22 for comp, I would get a Primary Arms. If I am going to spend $250 on a red dot for competition its going to be a C-More STS, Trijicon RMR, or Burris FastFire.

Anything more is a waste and not needed on a 10/22. If I am going with a tube RDS, I sure the hell am not going with some off brand Nikon. It doesn't make sense. I am sure its a nice optic...just not for a 10/22 for $250.
