Help Finding the Right Mid Range Scope.

Im trying to decide what would be the best option for around 300.00 dollars. I will be mounting it to my REM 700 SPS Tac .308.

    Here are some choices

    Nikon Buckmater 4.5-14x40

    Bushnell Banner 6-24x40

    Hawke Sidewinder 30 4-16x50

I dont plan on shooting animals with it its strictly target shooting out to 600yards . Need some good points thanks guys !

I spent some time with the Hawke scopes at SHOT. I was very impressed with the optical quality - low glare, good sight picture. Good engineering and design. Probably the best examples of Chinese manufacture I've seen. I would buy one.

Yeah , I shot my friends when I was in Cali last weekend . He had a baseline model on his AR and I'll tell you what it was super clear and crisp!

I have the Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 on my sps tactical and I really like it. Very clear and crisp. Nice in low and bright light. Great scope for the price.

I received a Nitrex TR1 6-20 AO for test and evaluation. I tested optical performance and reticle performance on a shock tester. I was completely satisfied with optical performance - resolution, chromatic aberration and glare were good for a scope in that price range. The reticle adjustment was reproducible, linear and accurate on both axes. in the end,I could not part with it and bought it from Nitrex. It sits on my Savage .223 bolt gun that I use for ground squirrels. It is big, however.
