Are these sights any good? I would appreciate any input from people who have used them currently or in the past.

Magpul BUS question

I have one. It's not horrible but if I had it to do over, I would opt for a metal from the get go. Mine hasn't broken, shoots fine, easy to adjust but I know I will have to replace it at some point so I am kicking myself for going cheap out of the gate.Comment

Depends how much you can afford to spend. It's what I have but I would rather have gotten better if I could afford it now /shrug. Came with it when I bought it."Men sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

I bought a Troy set, returned it. I have a Plum Crazy plastic lower - matched better with the plastic sights. I'm a Glock owner - plastic is fine. The Magpul MBUS is pretty sturdy by the way.
My front sight is on backorder in pic.

We have a set on a rental AR pistol that gets handled/shot a lot. No issues so far.
I would not want to take them into battle, but for a range gun, they are great.

mine work great! they are back ups anyways. really they dont get used that often but i have had no issues what-so-ever. They are easy to work with, plastic (not really a bad thing) and for the set are around $100 opposed to $200. If you are going into Iraq, spend the extra money, if you are shooting paper and steel targets you will be just fine. They are a great product for a great priceComment

I had them on my AR work very well, but had to upgrade to metal sights they were to bulky for me.Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
