Is there anybody out there that is using/modifying the rear sight base on an AK for a scope mount?

these guys make mounts for ak's saiga's and sks's my pops has one on his sks and it works great

only good for red dots or scout scope though

this thing is for everything but it mounts to the rear sight base and the stock trunion but comes with an ar style rear sight (very very nice and the price shows it)

Thanks for the websites, scout scopes seems to straddle the rear sight, bringing the red dot up pretty high? The prototype I made keeps it down lower but you still cant rest your cheek on a mil stock. Krebs would not load the pic of their rear sight, will try later. Got a NcStar red dot with a laser to try my base out and the red dot and the laser are right on, you can shoot this thing from the hip at the little red dot
