    Redfield-Simmons-NCstar

Ok so I know they are not the best optics in the world but will need to go this route while saving up for a NF. Which of these has better glass? Use for mostly 308 bench target shooting maybe on 223 for target as well. Any constructive advice would be greatly appreciated.

    REDFIELD FTW!

They're made in America again and are of Leupold quality standards. NCstar is Chicom and some Simmons may be too. If you get a chance to look through a new American Redfield, do it!
I have and it has made me a believer. It really was like looking through an affordable Leupold.

        +1 for Redfield

Redfield is in a whole different class than Simmons or NCstar, which are pretty much junk. Another scope to consider that runs around the same cost as Redfield is Nikon Prostaff.

Another vote for the Redfield. As Redfield says, your dollar goes further if it doesn't have to cross the pacific ocean.

Here's a link to the manufacturer's page showing the Accu-Range reticle.

Redfield Revolutions also have a lifetime warranty.

The only issue I'm having is that i'm looking for more magnification than is available on the redfields. I'm looking for 20+ power. I have a simmons that I absolutely love now but ot is only at 12x and I"m not sure how their glass will be out to 20+?
