    Which scope for .17HM2?

Looking to pickup a scope from Midway for my Savage Mark II chambered in .17HM2.

I'll likely be shooting between 50 and 150 yards, but I wouldn't mind pushing the round as far as possible to get a feel for drop.

I don't want to break the bank on a short range optic, but I'm not looking for a $20 scope either.

What price range do you want to stay in? I've been shooting with a bushnell banner on my 10/22 for 2+ years. Optics/Glass are ok, stays on target barring no major wind and was a real good price. I shoot at 125 to 150 without any issue other than wind.

I haven't decided on a price range. I'm usually pretty open for the most part, depending on what I'm looking at. If someone says that a $100 scope is the bees knees and holds it's own with a $300 piece at 150 yards, then I'll go with the less expensive item.

I'm just looking for something that's quality and will allow me to train properly without having to fiddle with adjustments all the time.

I was thinking about the Leupold VX-I Rimfire Rifle Scope 2-7x 28mm Fine Duplex Reticle Matte.

I really like my ClearRidge 3-9x. Rimfirecentral has pretty good reviews on them.
