Which mounting style for my scope?

I just ordered a Savage Mark II FV

It comes with the scope base installed, but I don't know what that means. Any help would be appreciated.

You should have a Weaver style base on your rifle. You can then use any weaver style rings in the appropriate size and height for yoru scope. Weaver Crosslock are a nice inexpensive choice, Burris Xtreme, Warne PA....list goes on.
