Best sub $100 spotting scope

Just want to be able to go a 125 or so yards out sharp or maybe more yards out with a bit of a wobble so to speak

How are the lower priced spotting scopes? Necstar, Barksta, Meade, anyone else meet a rifle range need?

if i can offer some advice...don't cheap out on this. i did, i purchased a Barksta on sale, heard some decent things about it....and unfortunately i hate it, poor quality optic. i really feel as though i wasted $60 dollars.

Go visit a BIG store (physical dimensions that are large, not a Big5 size), use the spotting scope to look all the way across the building into a shady corner up by the ceiling.

Shake your head and give up the dream of cheap + good in a spotting scope. We've all wasted money chasing this dream. If you disbelieve me I have a spotting scope for sale for $60 ....

I have a Barska from Big 5 for just under $100 (on sale), which is okay for the yardage you require. Beyond that, its power won't be able to see bullet holes.

I plan on getting a Celestron Skymaster (made for star-gazing) for $150 that can go out to about 500 yards.

They all suck under $100 IMO and will leave you wanting more, save up some more cash and get the Konus.

Reviews say its nearly as good as the Kowas but not built as solid. It does the job for me as armchair commando. Plan on getting another tripod, although the one it comes with can work until you do.
The large objective helps when the range is dimply lit, like at P2K.

You'd be better off either saving that money up for a better spotting scope or just spend it on more ammo and actually walk to your targets to see the impacts. never skimp on optics.
