Looking for a good 4-16x scope

I'm looking for a good 4-16x scope with all the the features wanted in a scope,
Such as mill dot, resettable turrets, Holds zero, side focus. I'm not sure about focal planes but something that is easier to do hold overs and what ever else you recommend.

Oh yeah and doesn't get blurry when you zoom.

This will be for a flat top ar 15 And I would like to keep it $200.00 or less.

me too.... but whats stopping me is my buddy said he will beat my arse if I dont get good with the Iron sights first..

This is a great scope for the money. Mil-Dot, side focus, and they're really clear out to past 200-300 yards for under a couple of hundred dollars. If I only had 200, either this, or go with a lower power Nikon Pro Staff from Natchez

I realize this does not meet budget criteria
but the Weaver V-16 is a very good scope

at least check it out and see if the budget can do it

i have a nikon buckmasters with side focus, and 4-16x and i think they make it with a mill dot too

I dont think the words good and 200 dollars go together. Your going to see haze and chromatic aberration in a cheap scope.

I really like that it setup for most 55 grain 223 since that is what my AR sees the most of.

Look at the Konuspro M-30 4.5-16X44. I just picked one up from Scope City for $340.

Save another $100 and get a SS, or a Millett TRS-1

Well if you are looking at $200 or less, I have heard decent things about the Primary Arms 4-16x44

If you are willing to spend a little more ($300 ish) get a Bushnell, Nikon or somethign similar.

The TRS is a decent scope, but the 1/2 moa clicks kills it for me.

for the money, i still think its great. plus, if you only want to spend $300, you might just be a kentucky windage kinda shooter. Im speaking from experience unfortunatly

The TRS does come in 1/10 mil clicks now. It's Second Focal Plane, but nice features for the money. I've heard mixed reviews about the glass, but that's pretty much what you get for $300.
