elcan reticle swap?

I know trijicon will swap out reticles on ACOGs, but would elcan do the same?
Howmuch would they charge?

My line of thinking goes like this, I want a magnified optic for my Scar17, and would love a Elcan or ACOG, but my cash flow right now really cant justify it.
With Elcans being rather affordable on the 2ndary market, Im thinking this may be a viable path.

Am I dreaming here?
Should I just say screw and put a magnifier on the eotech I have already?

I should point out that I am a bonafide range commando, and my life will not be depending on my mag locked SCAR anytime soon (got a featureless AK for that)

I know the practical approach would be to look at a traditional optic, but practicool isnt tacticool

I don't know whether or not Elcan will swap out a reticle... However, I would suggest in your case just grabbing a magnifier and save yourself a thousand bucks. You said it yourself- your life will not be depending on the weapon system, no need to spend like it will.

Good move, I prefer the Comp m4's to EOTech any day. Much better IMO.

Aimpoint Comp M4 was a good choice.

I have an Elcan Specter DR with Docters optic since sometimes I dont like switching the latch from 1x to 4x and I am not sure they will swap reticles...Its possible. Anything can be done for the right money regardless if told otherwise..
