    SPR Scope help

So I just finished my SPR, and now i just need to figure out what optic i want. I know most people have been using the Nightforce or some Leupold. i was thinking about going with the Vortex PST 2.5-10x44 or 4-16x50 FFP. Any other suggestions? Also,

Is FFP and high magnification really necessary for this type of rifle?

Would a 50mm objective look awkward on an SPR?

Just some things i would like to get some opinions on.

Most people put a medium range scope on SPRs (2-10x, 3-9x, etc.) because it was designed with the intent to engage targets out to 600 or 700 yards, but an important question is what YOU plan to use it for. For example if you're never going to shoot past 200 yards then a 1-4x scope would be plenty.

You don't "need" FFP unless you're going to do a lot of multi-distance or unknown distance shooting.

Would a 50mm objective look awkward? I don't know, it's a tool, use what works for you and don't worry so much about how it looks.
