Can someone tell me what the best scope mount for a sks is thanks

I guess it depends on what scope your mounting and where you want to mount it. UTG and Barska both make modified recoil spring covers with mounting hardware. Just go to amazon and type SKS and they'll come up. There is also a weaver style mount that replaces the gas tube. Never tried it but looks interesting. The problem is if your scope is long then the mounts over the reciever are too close and the front one looks like it would be too far away.

The only one that keeps zero after a few hundred rounds is the scount scope mount. Use 1X scope, reflex sight, or extended eye relief scopes.

Go with the rail type. I have a modified recoil spring cover. I think the only way you keep it attached is to weld it in place. The screws & locking nuts just don't hold after just a few rounds.

x2. Mine didn't stay in place long enough to sight it in. After the 2nd attempt at lock-tite, I gave up and ditched it. I stayed with iron sights.

I have the scout scope mount and love it. That's probably the best way to go.

i have a one piece rail/cover and a nikko sterling stays on perfect after hundreds of rounds. if you get a long scope you will need a shell deflector I had to weld the deflector to the rail/cover cause the holes dont align.
