EO Tech 517

I want a red dot sight for my 16" RRA Elite A4 and am considering an EO Tech 517 A65 It has the 7mm base and the 65moa ring w/ one moa dot. I don't need NV capabilities and like buttons on the side. Am I over looking anything or should I go ahead and place the order?

I hate that exact model. It works awesome and is a great holosite. Eotechs are awesome if they work for your eyes. If you've never looked through one I would suggest doing so before buying one. My reticle appears very blurry to me when I wear my glasses or contacts.

I got the EXPS 3-4 from that GB....I had to go to a couple of gun shops to check out the main differences between the aimpoint and the eotech.

I agree with the above comment....go check it out in person. You have to get used to the reticle.by looking past it and focusing on the target.....which is a basic rule for shooting in general.
