Hi All,

I'm going to order a steel front night sight for my G26.

Is it easy to remove the factory's front plastic sight? Any special tool to remove it?

Is it easy to install the steel NS at all? Any special tool to install?

What brand of front NS would you recommend?

Any inputs are greatly appreciated. All the best!

You can use a small punch to pop off the front plastic sight. There is a small hex wrench to install most front sights.

I am partial to Heinie straight eights.

No idea, I purchase mine as a set.

I really like my Ameriglo hack sights. The front sight is sweet and it really draws your eyes, and you can buy just the front sight separately.

GL-212-OR (Orange). The GL-212-GR (Green) is pretty sweet as well as a single front NS.
