Anyone has a Zeiss Z-Point red dot sight?

Is the base clamp made of polymer or aluminum?
Thinking about getting one to put on an Ultimak gas tube rail. I don't think any polymer parts will withstand the heat for long.

Its aluminum. Had mine on a SA Socom 16 for a year. That rail gets real hot but the sight expierienced no ill effects.
