Great review. Been looking to get the big dot sights for my M&P. Not sure if I trust myself to the install though.

    Thankfully XS offers installation.

Yeah, from what I understand, installation on most guns other than glocks is not quite as straightforward. Their turnaround time on installation is supposed to be pretty fast though.

I had them on 3 of my Glocks, 2 19's and a 17. They are a great defensive sight, But accuracy falls short past 25 yards. I now use Warren Tactical's and have found them to be as fast up close to acquire a sight picture as the Big Dot's with much more accuracy out past 25 yards. After the Warren's I will never look back.

fullspeed, I keep hearing about these warren tactical sights but it looks to me like they'd have the same issue of the front sight being obscured by the rear sights if you did not align correctly....is there something I'm missing?

My reason for looking at these sights is my eyes changed when I had lasik surgery. Since the surgery, I can't see the front sight well. I want them for defensive reasons. That is why I like the stock Glock sights, very easy to see vs tritium sights.

AT, Like any standard irons, If they are misaligned you will lose your front post. Is that what you are inquiring about?

Yeah, that's what I meant. Since I posted though I checked out a couple videos on them and they look like they'd suffer less from that problem than a lot of stock irons.

Just sent my slide off to XS for installation of the big dots.

I'll post pics and a review once I receive it back.

Nice, I've never seen them on an M&P. Let us know how it turns out.

New, higher quality pictures of the sights on my 26.
