Vortex has a 3x with a new side flip mount. I was quoted $230 for the combo by one of the Vortex guys at SHOT. You might check with either CSTactical or Liberty Optics for a price. The glass quality is quite good.

Last week I emailed Primary Arms to find out if the Deluxe 3X on a "Flip to Side Mount Std Height" would work with my Compm4 mounted on a standard aimpoint riser. Their customer service responded with "it won't be dead on, but the deluxe has enough internal adjustmet to center the dot." I think I might try it, if I doesn't I can always get a different mount. A lot of people seem to like that magnifier for it's quality and price.

I had this setup before, but I did not like the FTS PA mount. There was so much play in it that I sold it. I ended up going with the LaRue LT602 (fixed) mount with it. I also had a ADM mount for the M4. I went with this setup to get the lower 1/3 co-witness. Very nice setup, but it is HEAVY. Wish the magnifier had a better eye relief too.

I am currently running the normal PA magnifier and PA FTS mount with my aimpoint M4 on its stock mount... AVOID the PA mount...

It is very flimsy and will just be a pain.. you are much better off saving up for a real mount.

As for the magnifier, it doesnt line up exactly, but its okay... I would imagine the delux mount would be able to center since it has the ability to adjust.

Cool, I'm interested in your review. I'm thinking about the same setup for an Eotech.

I just bought the PA FTS mount, I e-mailed PA and Marshall said they had a bad batch of those FTS mounts and the new ones should'nt have the issues Allied pointed out. We'll see. I hope if it's bad I can swap it out for the ADM Flip mount.

speaking of which, does anyone know how those are?

I haven't used much other products, but my Primary Arms FTS mount for my PA 3x magnifier is very tight. Infact, it wouldn't hurt if it was a tad looser as it takes a firm tug to make it flip in either direction.

I agree, I just received my fts and deluxe mag last week from primary arms and it is super tight. Very happy with all their products.

The Larue mounts are awesome, the adjustment mechanism is perfect, and super easy to set. The one I'm using with a DM Premium magnifier you have to push it forward to flip it to the side. Quick release clamp is solid too. I would buy Larue mounts for everything if I could afford it!
