    New rifle...suggestions for optics setup

Just got a Browning X Bolt Medallion 270win. What base and rings would you guys recommend and also a scope. Will be using it to hunt deer and pigs mostly. Budget from 400- 700. Lemme hear them guys! Thx!

That is an excellent choice. I suggest a 3.5X10X40 non-AO. I have mostly 3X9X40 on my hunting rifles. I do have the 3.5X10X40 on my 25-06 and like it. I only put Leupolds on my hunting rifles. They will always work in any weather and thet is important to me. Leupold/Redfield mounts/rings are a solid choice also
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Thanks Divernhunter! Exactly what I'm leaning towards. Narrow down to that and the nikon monarch.

+1 to Leupold. A Leupy VXIII in 3.5-10x40 is hard to beat for that rifle, especially for the price. Thats what's on my .270 and I have made 1st round hits on vital zone sized targets to over 500 yards easily with it.

Looks like it's going to be the Leupold VX3. Any good sites to get them from? Much appreciated!
