Anyone have a Laser Rangefinder Scope?

I know Nikon and Burris offer them. They were about $800ish, now used/refurb $500+- hear for the 1st time mention Gen I. Dont know if the Gen 2 is out, or they were just making a statement.

I always wanted one. I know it is not precision sniper custom USO, but I like the concept. I could not get one for awhile, but knowledge is power.

    Thank You

I am interested in this type of optic as well. I know of 4 types, 3 of them look like the same manufacture/design. The new Burris Eliminator, Nikon IRT, Bushnell yardage pro that can be had for about $500-$800.00. The last is a Zeiss Victory Diarange scope but that is around $3k so its out of my price range.

The Eliminator is at the top of my list due to the hold over software.

I have not found any local stores that have them in stock so I can not check them out.

My interests are how good the laser range finder is. If it is as good as a mid range stand alone unit then it would be a good value. I would love to see how precise the laser dot remains at range with Night vision (to see the IR ranging dot size).
If I find any good reviews I will post them for you.

There currently is no scope that has an integrated laser rangefinder that is reliable beyond a few hundred yards.

What do you mean by reliable ? Do you mean accurate or that they fail too easy ?

The advertising states, Deer out to 550 yards +/- 1 yard if that is correct that would be fine for my needs.

I just would be interested in knowing how big the IR spot size is at some ranges.

Bump! Any more updates? I got to check out the Burris at the range that a guy was using on his 300win mag. He was sighting it in at 600yards, and had nothing but good things to say about it.
