Cool! I'll be looking forward to your eval, I'm interested in the 6-24 model myself.

I'll be looking forward to your review as well. I'm interested in the 6x24 FFP
      MIL / MIL.

I was going to buy one last summer until the recall. Good to see they're finally being released.

They were not happy with the turrets, Said they were a little light on the audible click. Everyone I talked to that played with the first edition said they were fine though. Vortex is trying to make it big with the PST line so they are putting a 100% into it.

DAMN!!! I just gave up hope on getting a PST for my SPR build and ordered a less expensive alternative. Just like my luck. Let us know how it does. Do you know if they are shipping the 4-16x50s yet?

            Thanks,
            Chris

Yep just got mine today. The 1-4 CQB is at midwayusa looks to be a great scope for an SPR.

Sounds like nothing to major. Can you post a picture from the side? I would like to see how much of a gap between the scope and the receiver. what scope ring and mounts do you have?

I am using Leupold Low 30mm Mark4 rings with a Badger 20moa base and it still clears no prob.

I have to say that Vortex Optics is my favorite optic company right now. They have always have been outstanding with customer service. I had a previous generation Viper that had too short of eye relief and they let me trade up to this PST for only a couple hundred extra. So especially in my case I am thrilled. Thank you Vortex!
