Attaching a remote pressure switch

Hi there. Recently picked up a MARS reflex sight with a pressure pad for a visible laser. Trying to get the switch to sit against the rail, but the wire is rather thick so a Tango Down pocket doesn't work (velcro doesn't stick so well to the rubber back) and the manta rails clips are too small. Any idea on how to attach the pressure switch to the picatinny rail? Thoughts/ideas are appreciated.
