Just bought one of these from big5 the other day and was wondering if anyone has used or even heard of them. They seem pretty sturdy. I look at as a 3 in 1 deal... flashlight on the shotgun, sight on rifle, and laser on handgun. Heres a link to the actually website. BTW, its on sale for $89 but I used my $10 coupon and paid like 80 something.

Barska stuff is trash!!
I bought the bullet drop scope for .223 for my plinker and it's the worse thing ever!
I sent it back with their spotting scope!
I don't get why people have to make trash! Why not just do it right and charge a little more? There are sniper everywhere and nowhere.....who knows what is out there.

Man-oh-man, that is the most useless POS gun-store-commando thing-a-ma-jig I have ever seen! I wouldn't put that on a paintball gun
I guess everyone needs to have a few things hidden in the back of their safe that they are not willing to admit that they actually bought. I know I have more than a few things in that category myself from way back when. Too embarrassed to sell them or even give them away so there they sit.
Anyone want a "real nice" BSA long range sniperscope real cheap? Howzabout a hydraulically damped recoil-reducing A2 buttstock? Got lot's more of this kind of really cool crap LOLLast edited by GeoffLinder; 01-03-2011, 5:09 PM.Comment

It might be "trash" compared so a similar setup using higher-quality components costing you $500-800 or more.
I can understand spending big $$$ on something if you're life might depend on it one day. But, if you're just using it for recreation I find it hard to justify spending top dollar on the highest quality stuff.
This is especially true when we're talking about a .22, which won't put nearly as much stress on components as larger calibers with bigger recoil. There are a ton of people out there with gear usually reserved for Airsoft on their .22s with no complaints.
Your best bet is to just try it out and see what you think for yourself. My guess is that it will be decent for the money you spent. You'll probably get to have some fun with it before something breaks and then you can just throw it away.

Tell you what, if you get a chance, next time you are at a gun show in the LA area go to one of the random booths that have the barska/ BSA/ leapers/ counter sniper/ etc. etc. scopes, look thru a few of them, then go over to the booth run by Tactically Armed Citizen and look thru any one of the USOs that Trevor will have for sale.
Trust me, if you don't notice a difference between the $80 pieces of commie crap and a well made piece of American optical engineering then you should stick to iron sights or pick another hobby.
