I just finished my build and used a DD1.5 fixed rear sight on my BCM upper, I would like to put a red dot on it and am wondering if the fixed rear sight will work or will I need one that lays down?

For my eyes, I find the rear peep sight to be essential.
If I look at the red dot without it, it isn't really a dot but more of a blob with rays shooting out of it in various directions. When I flip the rear peep sight up and look through it at the dot, most of the problem goes away and the dot appears more dot-like.
I am using absolute co-witness, YMMV if you are configuring differently.Comment
