leupold ar scope

wondering if anybody has one of these scopes they come in 3x9 and 4x12 wondering if i can get sme feedback on them.

also im looking for a scope to put on a 6.8 spc ar. but i can seem to find anything with the bdc for a 6.8spc

Good plinker/hunting scopes, BDC dial is accurate enough for standard 55 grain loads. I have a 3-9 with duplex but would rather have a mil dot. The 4-12 looks good until you realize they want 500$ bucks for it, what a rip.

Consider the 10X bushnell mil mil, super sniper 10X, weaver 3-10 mil mil if you want a budget scope.

Also if you want a 1-4 the vortex PST will be available very soon, and at 500$ it looks to be a good deal if you want a more carbine/battle rifle oriented scope.

Amazing glass and turrets for the price. Only downside is that it doesn't have parallax adjustment.

I had the Mil-dot version and wish I didn't waste money on it. There is no point since the knobs are in MOA anyways. I mean, you CAN use it to range things but not worth the extra dough imo. I would go with the duplex. I'm seriously blown away by the quality of the scope for the price point.

I have used the Leupold Mark AR on 223 and they have worked great. I'm running one on an DPMS LR-308 18" and I will have to get a different Elevation turret but it is close out to 300yds.

DPMS LR-308 18" with Burris Mount and Leupold Mark AR 4-12x.

Leupold MkIII or VariX III 3-10x if you only shoot 300ish yards, more mag if you shoot further.

Nikon is good glass too for the price.
