What kind of sight on top of a carry handle?

I'm currently looking at a mini/micro ACOG(TA44SR-10), A few different mini red dots, and any of a number of micro reflex sights like the Leupold Delta Point and Trijicon RMR variants.

I don't need any magnification. I just want something compact/low profile for use on top of a bare bones M4 style carbine.

Any experience with this type of setup?

I don't think there are any real good options. I tried to come up with one for my Colt HBAR for months. I finally decided to sell, which I did earlier this year.

I then waited until Larue came out with a complete 556 rifle. This rifle has continuous rail and you can mount whatever you want.
