    MOA all the way?

I have read most everything have been able to find regarding MOA vs MIL, including one of ar15barrels post. Sorry to see he was banned he was alway nice and helpful to me.

Anyway I have two questions. Keep in mind I've never owned a scope other than an Accupoint with green triangle I bought earlier this year.

Does use of mil system allow for greater accuracy?

Should a person who is challenged by math (that would be me) go with an MOA system which I think is simpler? I would get MOA reticle and MOA turrets.

One of Randall's posts here on Calguns: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=154758

If you're interested, the CAPRC forum has some good topics in the optics forum about Mil vs. MOA and the reasons for choosing one over the other.

It might also be helpful to note that Randall used to be a hardcore MOA guy and is now moving toward Mil reticules; at least, that's what I gather from some of his posts on CAPRC.

dude... read his post. He already read it probably. But read it again! it's good info. lol

but if you are starting out.. I would say Mil's are easier. At least for me. increments on .1/10 is easier. But I'm pretty good with math.

Some recent discussion and the stickying of this thread put me over the edge...

The difference is so small, that it will be lost in the static of all the other variables I think, i.e. your breathing will play a larger role at 1K than if you picked one over the other. My thoughts, pick the one you like the most and have the turrets match the reticle and rock on, easy as pie.
