Night Vision Question

I just purchased a ITT PVS 14 off of eBay. It was listed as the 6015 version. The model number listed on the unit states NE6015R. Does anyone know if that stand a for "Night Enforcer?". The imaging on the unit is fantastic. I have never owned night vision before and am trying to figure out if I got a good deal. I payed just over 2 G for the unit. If anyone can give me any info on these that would be fantastic. Thank you!
