Red Dot for Ruger 22/45

Anybody have any suggestions on a cheap red dot for a 22/45? Also on where to get a scope mount?

Well I recently bought a red dot for my 22/45. I believe it was the Barska from Big 5. It was on sale and I believe it was $35. I was fairly impressed with it and it had 4 different shapes for the dot. two different size dots, one cross, and a dot with a circle around it. I actually ended up returning it because I never use it so I did not get to really test it out. I also owned the BSA red dot that Big 5 sells and it broke the first time out so I would not suggest the BSA. As for a place to find a mount If you bought it new it should come with one. If you bought it used I am sure you can find one at Ruger's website or a site like MidwayUSA.com or Brownell's.

I've got the volquartsen mount on mine. It's raised and has a see through channel so you could still use your irons if you wanted. It's topped of with a Matchdot
