    Scout Scope Recomendations

I am looking for Scout Scope recomendations to mount on my Mini 14. I have an Amega Ranges scout rail installed and was planning on putting my EOTech 512.65A on it, but it made it on my SR-22 first. I have been doing some online research but have really only came accross two name brand offerings in a scout scope. A Leupold 2.5x28 and a Burris 2.75x20. I have 3-4 Leupold scopes currently and trust there quality (although I have heard some negative reviews as of late), but I have never ownes or even really looked at a Burris. Or should I just get another red dot? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had the set up with the Amega ranges scout rail with the Burris Burris 2.75x20, I hated it personally. I actually sold the scope and used the money get myself a new red dot sight, a Walther PS22 with the same scout rail. Really the sight window on the scout scope sucks at any distance and it really takes some getting used too. Make the best of your Mini, check out http://www.ruger-mini-14-firearms.co...ini_prices.php. I have bought alot of parts from them and really like the results.

Leupold makes the best scout scope out there IMO.
RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.

        +1

I've tried a few different makes and models but for my serious rifles with a forward mounted scope I always come back to the Leupold FX-II 2.5X28.

If you just want to try out the concept, get the NcStar SPB2732B.
