Barska 4-16x50 IR Super Sniper Scope

Anyone know anything about this scope? I just ordered it off of overstock.com, I couldn't really find any reviews on it, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

Because they are not very good.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

if they weren't very good why wouldn't i see a lot of negative reviews on the scope then? i have noticed a lot of negative reviews of the brand its self but i wonder how many of those people are right. sure there might be some stinkers out there but it seems like people jumping on the hate bandwagon.its always ive heard or ive known a guy.but i'll probably throw it on my saiga just for looks in the pictures lol but take it off and wait to use it for a .22 i'll probably be getting.

Aah, well, maybe the "sniper Scope" makes it to corny to buy, I have some Barska Binocs and hate them.

You will get to be one to add reviews to the pages once you get it

i'll probably just throw it in the trash rather than wait for them to give me another. and the hassle of returning to overstock.com is to much. wait like 4 or 5 weeks to get my refund meh i'd rather cut my losses .

Friends don't let friend put Barskas on their rifles. Its one of the few scopes that actually comes in below Tasco.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

What were you thinking of putting it on?

Obviously, none of those guns, RIGHT? I guess if you are going to put it on a airsoft toy, it should work for a while but, please don't waste your time mounting it to any firearm that you have listed. You'll look like a fool and waste a lot of ammo before you figure out that the irons on your rifles give you better accuracy and precision.

well seeing if i wanna do any long range shooting i'll need some magnification i dont have good eye sight so trying to aim at anything at great distance will be troublesome.

Long distance? How long distance are you talking about? I use irons out to somewhere between 400 and 500 yards with enough accuracy to consistantly hit the little steel swingers at Angeles using mil-surplus rifles and home built AKs (400yd max). But, I don't see a gun in your collection that I would put optics on. I can't hit scat with any of my Mosins at any distance so, I'd never put optics on them.

well im not exactly a marksmen. anything past 100 yards is blurry to me hell even 100 yards i have a hard time focusing on my target. but good for you if you can hit things that distance with irons.

ya know, i have a barska that got a long time ago. it was 4-16x50. i have used it on a 30-06 rifle without any issues. it holds zero without any problems so far. i don't have much issues with them. granted that it isn't the sniper edition.

the scope isn't that bad. i do have much better scopes i use on my other guns. the barska is the cheapest scope i own.

                              hope this helps.
I am offically a gun nut!!!!!
