EOTech 555 vs 516.A65

EOTech 555 made for the USMC is about $519.00 depending on who you buy it from...the 516.A65 is $369.00. Is the EOTech 555 worth the $150.00 difference?

It is if you want the ability to use it with night vision. The 555 also takes AA's so you can find batteries anywhere and has a quick release mount.

Honestly, if you are asking this question the features of the 555 are not important to you. If you want AA batteries, get a 512. If you want NV, get a 552. If you want quick release get one of these: http://usarmorment.com/ggg-accucam-e...l?currency=USD

I do see they now make them without the USMC markings. If you are on the fence, get a 512 and use the cash saved for ammo.
