I recently bought a AN PEQ 2A device for my AR. I am a little confused on reading the directions. It refers to the device being mounted on top or the left side of the rail system only. Can I mount it on the right side? Does this affect the shot quality? I have run out of room on top so a side mount is my only option (due to Eotech MPO package). If anybody has any advice of this it would be greatly appreciated.

Word of Advice/Caution... If this kit was not issued to you by a qualified Agency, DO NOT contact Insight Technologies EVER! They are not too kind to civies owning these lasers. I'm not gonna get into the legalities of owning Class B laser products. Yes just bare in mind that depending on which side u mount it on, there will be an offset. u don't want POA equal POI. It will be diagonally offset, and thats to account for the rising and falling of the round.
Personally, I feel the best place is mounted on top of the rails (12). The IR laser was made to shoot around the front site post, and it keeps it clear of the bulkiness of the side.
