Great scope, love mine. Once you use the BDC you will wonder why you waited. Lots of information on AR15 forums and Brian Enos Forums on this scope.

I love my XTR14. Sure I can pick out a few "flaws", but over all it is a great optic. They can be picked up used very cheap (relatively speaking) also. I really like how the rear bell is the zoom adjustment not just a ring that could be harder to get a hold of.

I recently got the LRS version in a 1-4. It was my first Burris optic and I must say it is very robust. It as about half what the XTR was, but I think the XTR's warrenty is better. (LRS only covers illumination for 5years instead of forever). The XTR reticle is very nice as well. They seem like a solid line of optics.
