Question about best night sight for Glock

I have a G19 that i will be using for CCW, and i would like to replace the stock sights with night sights. I've heard good things about the tritium sights, but i don't know which kind to buy. I'd like to hear from you knowledgeable folks about what sight might be the best fit for the G19, with regards to durability, ease of use, and value, and i guess anything else pertinent.

I have both Trijicons, Heines and Meprolights on my Glocks. The Trjicons seem brighter. They also replaced a 13 year old set at no charge.

No, they're very visible (assuming you like the 3-dot pattern.)

Trijicon says they will will re-lamp any sight that contains their lamps -- I've only done it with Trijicon-branded sights, but I note that some other sight manufacturers (e.g. Heine) use Trijicon lamps.

I am especially impressed with the day-visibility of the fiber-optic sights (e.g. Truglo, who makes a fiber-optic with a tritium lamp backing it.) The front fiber helps me keep my mental focus on the front sight. Having said that, I've remarked in another thread that I find the rear fiber sights are actually distractingly bright; I ended up happy by covering the light-gathering portion of the rear sights.

My ideal combo would be a TruGlo TFO front in green (brightest) and Ameriglo's yellow (dimmer) tritium in back -- but I haven't found a source for just the front TruGlo.

Night sights are best in low light, not no light, but low light, you still need to see your target. They are a distraction in full light. I only use them on carry guns.

TFO is the way to go, got them on all of my tool guns (Glocks)

Had Trijicons and Meps. Not that I had a problem with the Meps but will never buy anything but Trijicon again.

I have Meprolights on my G19 and have seen the Trijicons. Will never buy Meprolights again. It works great at night and day time but limited visibility during mid-level morning and evening light.

I use Meprolights on my carry Glock 23. I like 'em.

All my other guns use fiber optics.
