I'm looking for a good micro reflex sight to complete my sight array. It will be partnered with a Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40 if you're wondering. In my mind, this is the best SHTF optics set-up, because you've got the best of both worlds while still retaining the good ol' backup sights in the unfortunate event that a zombie manages to get inside your perimeter and take a swipe at your optics.
I know the Insight MRDS gets great reviews. I can acquire these at a great discount, but if the Leupold is better I'd rather have that. All I really have to go on at this point is knowing that the MRDS is a good high quality sight with a nice bright dot. I can only assume that the Leupold is well..a Leupold and comes with all the perks of being well..a Leupold. The thing I like about it is the larger glass and the optional triangle reticle.
Does anyone have experience with either of these?
