i bought a savage 110fp in 300 win mag about 7 years ago. it has no scope, everytime, like clockwork, i save up enough for a good scope, something comes up. im considering putting on iron sights, to use till i someday can afford a good scope. what should i look into, and how much do you think it would cost to have them installed? or should i just save money for a scope. ive cleaned the thing more than its ever been shot.

What kind of iron sights? The front and rear sight I have on my Eliseo R5 gun (Remington 700) cost as much as a scope (rear and front cost $800+ combined).
You can just get a Bushnell 3200 Elite 10x mildot for $200. You should just go that route rather than trying to get the muzzle turned for a clamp on scope base or soldering a blade on it.
