    Scout rifle scopes

What brands of long eye relief scope, preferably in the $~100 range, would be good for building a scout rifle?

Spend a few more bucks and get a Leupold M8 scout 2.8X, the scope is great and comes on the Steyr Scout "Cooper" rifle. Ive looked at the cheaper Burris and its just not as nice imo.

Brando, what kind of mounting system are you using? Is it the standard SA one or did you go with something else? Are you having any issues with heat transfer?

and of course, got any pics?

My scout scope was on my Scout M1A before I sold it, only issue was grease specs getting on the glass from the action but everyone that shot it loved it, I used a set of Luppy QD low rings.
