Buy a cheaper scope from Leapers or NCStar for $80 and start saving that $110 to go toward your AR. Allocate resources properly. Bandages are just that.

FYI, Vortex Optics is doing a closeout on specific Viper models. Below is a post in our forum with all the details. Going to be hard to beat the pricing. A lot of guys have been placin orders in the short amount of time we've had it up...

Woah, woah, woah don't! Get the prostaff that'll work. DO NOT go cheaper unless it is bushnell, vortex, or nikon. A cheaper scope may work for a little while but likely won't last. Also, be sure to get an AO or side parallax. My preference for accuracy anyway

DO NOT do this. I haven't had to use a Leapers before, but I haven't seen an NCStar that holds zero. If you want to hit something, then you'll need a mechanically sound optic.

^this is good advice. And the deals that Mike posted on the discontinued Vipers are really good.

What kind of varmints are you going to be hunting, at what distance, and in what light levels?
