I joined the Nightforce 3.5-15x50 club

After saving for 6 months I took the plung and ordered one. After research and the help from calguns and sniperhide guys I placed the order and received it yesterday. All I can say is wow. I have always used super sniper, falcon, wotac, bushnell quality of scopes. Which are good scopes, but now I know why so many recommend the Nightforce. Its amazing how I can put it next to a scope with the same power but see twice as far do to the glass being so clear. Below is what I ordered. I went back and forth between this one and the 22 power one. I know I made the right choice after looking through both. Thanks again for all the advice you all put in this forum.

    Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50
    MLR Mil based Reticle
High Speed 1/10 Mil Rad 0-Stop turrets
    50mm Objective.

    Thanks again.
    Brian

How much did it run you? (ball park) What are you using it on?

      It cost me $1790.00 delivered.
I will be using it on a Remington 700P. Sitting in a Accuracy International 1.0 stock. Badger Ordnance 20MOA base.Burris extreme rings and a swivel 6-9 harris bipod.

Where did you order it from?
While we're here arguing about the latest high tech running shoes, there's some Kenyan out there running barefoot. Guess who's gonna win the marathon?

Oh well.. didn't get a reply so I got one from a member on the hide today
It's a 2010 model but no high speed turrets which I found odd.

            3.5-15x50 MIL/MIL w/zero stop

Didn't get to shoot with it yet but just by looking through the glass during sunset, I could tell that at high mag, it's much brighter than my Mk4. And it's definitely higher resolution at any magnification. Very happy.

Welcome to the club! I just joined last week. Exact same scope as you. Was thinking about the FFP version, but the extra $500 or so was a bit too much for m blood....

Yeah, I don't find the need for FFP on a medium mag scope like the 3.5-15x. They should make an FFP for the 22x, 32x, and the 42x models.
