    Redfield Scopes

So a friend/gun shop owner was pointing me towards Redfield scopes to throw on my KR7. Kinda spend most of the $$ on the rifle but still want to get some glass on it soon. Recomendations. Want to stay with a variable from somewhere around 2.5/3 - 9/10 power.

Any ideas help, budget around 250.00 - 350.00

Awesome scopes for the money. Made by Leupold up in Oregon. Quality scopes for a great budget price, and they were bought out by Leupold earlier this year or maybe even back in 2009. I've had the chance to look through the 3-9, the 4-12, and their rampage scopes. For the money, they're REALLY hard to beat. I would go with the 3-9x40 scope with the ballistic plex reticle or whatever name they call it with drop compensation dots. You won't be disappointed in their products and they have a lifetime warranty that counts to back it up. I'm considering their 2-7x33 scope for a lever rifle I have right now. Good luck, and post up pics when you're done.

Oh, and scott at liberty optics can help you out with the scope, and mount or rings you need better than almost anybody else out there without paying for tax. I'd go through him again in a heartbeat and he's a down home family man that answers right through dinner if he has to. www.libertyoptics.com

      Solid guy!

I have the 2x7 33mm revoulution 4-plex on a single shot 308 win. The glass is clear and a great buy @ $110. I would/will buy another. Great scope for the money. -g

I own none of them at the current time but I will soon be the owner of a rampage 20-60x60 scope and either a 3-9x40 or a 2-7x33 soon enough. The scope is going to go on a Marlin 1894 that I have but the scope needs to be changed out from the fixed 4x that is currently on it.

I bought two of them from Midway USA, 3x9x40mm with the accuplex. I paid $130 for each. Any other scope I've ever tried in this price range or lower has left me feeling like I threw my money away. But not these scopes. Good scopes for the money.

Redfield should be fine. You might also consider for your price range(or less) a used Leupold off e-bay. I have about a dozen or more I have bought, mostly 3X9X40, and all have been under $200. They all have been good and there is the no BS warr from leupold.

These 3-10x mil/mil scopes were highly recommended by lowlight on snipershide.com
It's a $400 scope on sale for $299 at Midway right now-

If you can't or won't spend the money on a Leupold scope this is the only other brand I would get for myself.
RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.
