How tight to screw in an Eotech...

I bought my first AR15 a couple of months ago from another Calgunner so I'm still pretty noob to the rifle and parts. I was wondering how tight to screw in the base of my Eotech (replica) to my rail. I went to the range and only finger tightened it. It kept coming loose. I got home and used a screwdriver and tightened it a whole lot more but I don't want to over do it. Also, has anyone used blue loctite to help? Thanks for all and any feedback!!

Check your manual. It states that it's a half turn or something like that to secure it.
