I need to replace the scope on my Savage 223 with something, erm, better. I'd like to keep it around $350 or under. I have a Bushnell Banner scope on my varmint AR, and that seems to work well. It's 6-18x50mm, and I'd like something similar for the Savage. If worse comes to worse, I'll just get another Banner.

Bushnell Elite 3200. Good bang for the buck.Comment

Fixed power... not good for varmint hunting.
Mil-Dot.... too busy for varmint hunting.
Super Sniper? Low end 'tactical' scope. Hardly worth it for a varmint rig, IMO.
Ideally you want a target dot, or fine duplex for a varmint scope.Comment

That's looks pretty nice, but I wouldn't want the BDC reticle. I'm leaning towards the Bushnell 3200 series. Thanks for the help everyone.Nikon 6.5-20x44 Monarch UCC Riflescope $350

A buddy of mine had a Burris 4.5-14 x 42 and it was nice! Clear lens and all. I believe it's this one for $329 (with dealer pricing, $349 without):
Comes with a spotting scope as well.Comment
