any experiance / info on burris scopes?

i'm looking seriously at this opne. it seems like a decent scope, and a little more compact then some of the others out there at a reasonable price.

I have one of their handgun scopes on a 44mag and it has a nice clear picture and holds up to the recoil fine. It was reasonably priced and does the job.

I have a Fullfield II on my .270. It has been reliable. It isn't fancy but it works. I would buy another.

I bought Bill's 6.5-20x50 for my .308. Really too much scope for it, but Bill gave me a good deal. Anyway, it's very nice. The gentleman who mounted the scope said it was perfect for the rifle.

I've also noticed that the Burris scopes can be less than even the Nikon scopes, and considerably less than the Leupolds. I think they're one of the better deals for the dollar, from what little I've learned about scopes.
