I wish there was a good site for riflescope reviews. Where they do exhaustive reviews and comparisons like this site does for cameras. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/

^Good advice. As with all forums, however, be careful what you trust, and do your best to separate the wheat from the chaff.

SH used to be an excellent information source, especially for gear and optics IMO. But for the last year or so, I've seen increasing amounts of FUD, blind brand loyalty, and blind brand hating over there. In terms of optics, it's still much better than this section of calguns, unless you are looking to put a Barska on your AR15, then you'll be very happy here.

For better optics advice right here on calguns, search the California Precision Rifle Club subforum. It's one of the best resources around for basically any question, be it gear, reloading, shooting techniques, whatever. It's good stuff.
