    Savage 110 Rail.

I have an older model Savage 110. The scope that was on there went bust and I bought a new one. The problem is that the new one does not line up with the rails that are already on there. Does anyone know a good rail that I can change it up with?

What do you mean by; the new scope doesn't line up with the rail that is already on the gun?

Is the new scope too short? How old is your savage? What is the spacing between the action screws (the ones that hold the receiver to the stock)? Is the back of the receiver round or flat on top?
