    Nikon 2-8x32 M-223

What do you all think about a Nikon 2-8x32 M-223 on an ar-15?

"It wasn't a failure of laws," said Amanda Wilcox, who along with her husband, Nick, lobbies for the California chapter of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. "I just don't see how our gun laws could have stopped something like that."

Not much in the way of reviews out there right now. Looking, and waiting to hear some credible feedback as well.

I saw a review in Guns&Ammo (june 2010), it was fairly positive. They said the glass was good and the BDC reticle was spot on. However it's not really a tactical or cqb type scope. More along the lines of something you would use for coyote hunting or maybe plinking at steel at known distances.

Looks pretty decent. I think it would be a good match for a RECCE (16") or SPR (18") type platform. Too bad they don't offer a standard mil dot version though. The BDC is nice, but really only practical for known distance shooting.

yeah im not looking for tactical. Im building a rifle with the rock river 20" Coyote upper. Mainly for medium to long range shooting, but with some tactical capabilities.

I like the Viper PST 2.5-10x44 Rifle scope, but $1000? Ouch LOL

PST 2.5-10 is listed on the libertyoptics site as being 599.
