hey buddy, pick up one of the bushnells...they're a little bit more reputable. also...i use bushnells for silhouette shooting with my rimfire bolt action. they're decent scopes for the price, and they're tough little bastards too. oh...and get good rings...not cheap rings!
"sir...does this mean ann margaret's not coming?" -
I just bought a Marlin 989M2, basically a Model 60 with the walnut stock and hand guard.
I'm considering buying the Vortex Diamondback 2-7 X32 rimfire scope for this gun:
It's a wee bit more expensive than I'd prefer for this rifle, but I like quality components and the reviews on Vortex's Diamondback line are impressive. I don't know jack about rimfire scopes, but I'm leaning towards this one, in part because of reasonable cost (about $170), in part because of perceived quality.Comment
