    Tikka T3 Hunter, Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16 x 42 scope.

    Deadnutz one piece mount.

It depends on how the stock fits you. The best way is to get a roll of blue painters tape and some cardboard pieces about an inch wide. Shoulder the gun and get your face where you want it on the stock, then tape the scope on top of a couple of cardboard strips and put it on top of your scope mount. Keep putting cardboard strips in between the scope mount and the scope until the scope lines up perfectly with your eye. Measure the height of the stack of cardboard when you get done and compare it to the ring heights of various makers until you find a set that matches.

Thanks! I was more concerned with the scope bottoming out on the rifle. This sounds like the best way to get the scope at the right height for comfortable sighting.
      Much appreciated.
